Training sessions with the children and teenagers of the
local neighbourhood restarted in January.

Totaí Football Teams
All the teams of the football ministry had success on the
pitch in the Municipal Football Championship:

Under 9's - 3rd place
Under 11's - 1st place
Under 13's - 2nd place
Under 15's - 1st place

The under 15 team played their
championship final in the "Gran Mamoré"
football stadium, home of local
professional side, Real Mamoré, winning
6 - 0 against opponents Sache Mojeño.
A new outreach material will be used in the sports ministry outreach
programme for 2008.  "Team Character" and "Christ Character" studies
provided by Sports Outreach International have been translated into
Spanish for use with the children and teenagers who attend the
training sessions.

Trip to Santa Cruz - Under 11 Football Team
In October 2007 a trip to Santa Cruz saw 16 children and 9 Fundacion Totai staff members make the
trip to play friendly matches against the Tahuichi Football School.

Sports Outreach Bolivia is a ministry of the Fundacion
Totaí based in Trinidad, Beni, Bolivia.

It seeks to reach out to the local population with the
Good News by using sport as a point of contact.

All the staff and children who participate in the
Sports Outreach Bolivia activities celebrated the
traditional end-of-year meal in December.

In the 2 meals organised (one for basketball and one
for football) over 200 children and 40 adults took part.
The meals provide a great opportunity to spend time
with the parents and reinforce the reason behind the
work that is being done with their children.
